The Scent of Summer, Peonies

Nikole did the first painting for her collaboration with Wallpapered, and she knocked it right out of the park!

What a beauty! There's something about peonies that is simply irresistible, and when accompanied with butterflies, you're onto a complete winner in our book.

Like always, it is painted with traditional brushes and ink on dyed Xuan paper with gold flecks.
