Nikole explains that the inspiration behind her painting was to depict a horse enjoying itself and getting playful on a windy day, just like the horses she had when she was younger. The way she has captured the essence of that moment, particularly with the wind rustling through the weeping willows, is truly impressive. This stunning artwork is an original Chinese piece by Nikole Lowe, painted on dyed xuan paper - a fragile rice-based paper with gold flecks.
